Beginning life in the practical sector of domestic loft insulation, the directors created a highly sales focused culture driving exceptional growth. Cavity wall insulation was quickly added to the service offering, and solar panels have also recently been added taking the business into the commercial as well as domestic market. Both have been extremely successful and are contributing significant income. The business is primed to add a further seven services to its portfolio taking it into the next phase of its development.
Off the back of its extraordinary growth in the installation sector, the business has entered new markets of trade sales of loft insulation, and the trading of Carbon Credits. Carbon Credit trading is driven by the way the wider market operates and the legislative requirements placed on utility companies to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses produced and released into the atmosphere.
The market for energy efficiency measures has been growing over recent years and driven by international and domestic legislation for carbon emission reductions continues to do so. Domestic properties are responsible for 48% of total UK greenhouse gas emissions. It is estimated that between 15.4m and 17.6m UK households require improvements to either the wall insulation or their loft insulation or in many cases both for which they can receive grants and funding assistance, driving sales.
The business has invested in its infrastructure, processes and people and has a strong second tier management structure, enabling the two directors to concentrate almost entirely on business development and strategy. This along with a highly sales focused culture and dynamic growth market has contributed to the extraordinary growth shown to date, and ensures that the business is well placed to continue its expansion into the future.
