Care homes are sought which cater for mental health, ABI, challenging behaviour, ASD, prada willi syndrome, physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties. In addition to the care homes, supported living and children’s services businesses are also sought.
Specific needs vary by location.
In the south east, primary areas of focus are Portsmouth and the surrounds, Maidstone and surrounds as well as part of London. Children’s services must be in the London and Surrey areas. Registered homes must have up to eight places and fees charged must be in excess of £1,500k per service user. Supported living businesses must have an EBITDA in excess of £100k per annum.
In the south west, registered homes catering for all categories of care needs with up to eight places are sought, which charge fees in excess of £1k per service user. Small groups of homes will also be considered.
In the Home Counties and Suffolk area, including Northants, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire, registered homes to fill up to eight places with fees in excess of £1,000 per service user are sought. All categories of care needs will be considered. Supported living businesses must have an EBITDA of £100k per annum.
Particular requirements for the Milton Keynes area are for a service delivering dementia care for people with learning difficulties, however, this must be ground floor accommodation only.
In the Buckinghamshire/Reading region, a facility which could be converted into small flats for transitional care is required.
Finally, in the Kings Lynn area, an eight bed maximum service is sought for any care category with fees in excess of £1k.
In Cheltenham/Gloucester, an individual service or a small group of homes are sought with fees in excess of £1k per service year. Supported living businesses must have an EBITDA in excess of £100k per annum.
In the Walsall and Tipton area, units for day centres are sought to replace existing units that are insufficient to meet demand. Supported living businesses with EBITDA in excess of £100k per annum are sought. Individual services or small groups of homes with fees in excess of £1,500k per user are sought. Children’s services are also sought.
In Yorkshire, individual services for all categories of needs with fees in excess of £1,500k per service are sought. Supported living businesses must have EBITDA in excess of £100k per annum. In all circumstances, freehold asset and business transfers, share purchases (either including or excluding freehold properties) or Op Co only (subject to agreeing a satisfactory lease for the home or property with the landlord) will be considered.
