The acquirer has experience in CEO, MD and NED roles and is seeking engineering or software, volume driven, factory based businesses with a fixed cost base. There should be a good quality product in place and an ambitious second tier management team receptive to an investment opportunity. All sectors considered except military, public sector, bio science, B2C or food.

The target business preferably to be based in the Midlands/North with a turnover of £10-£50m with a positive cash flow. Not a turnaround but potentially underperforming due to current climate/management.
