Established in the early 1970s, this reputable company supplies a wide range of products including an extensive range of fastener and fising products, power and hand tools, custom machine product and abrasives.
Highly knowledgeable technical sales staff assist buyers with their requirements and ensure that the right products are sourced. Orders are picked, dispatched and delivered within 24 hours.
The company has approximately 400 live customer accounts across a wide range of industries; no one customer exceeds 20% of turnover. Order values range from £10 - £10,000 although the average order value is approximately £250.
There are a number of opportunities to grow the business, one of which is the development of the e-commerce function which currently accounts for less than 5% of turnover. Also believe that the addition of a trade counter on site could add high margin sales.
The company operates from freehold premises extending to approximately 10,000sq ft. There is ample scope for growth within the existing site.
The shareholders hold directors roles within the business. The second tier management is formed of an office manger, accounts manager, buying manager and a warehouse manager. Each manager has their own team to assist them. The business employs 19 people in total.
