The owners of what could be the last 1.40 acre plot of land in Manchester city centre is available for sale.
The land is in an area of the city that has recently been named and red banded by the city planners as Southern Gateway, which they want to be redeveloped as Manchester`s Manhattan. The planners want well funded investors who are interested in creating a real landmark on every plot within the Southern Gateway, with planning permission for high rise, high density development already granted on some of the `other` plots.
Following many meetings with the planners a scheme with 2 x 28 storey towers on top of a commercial / retail atrium would be well received.
This 1.40 acre site is just 500 yards from The Hilton Towers, the UK`s 2nd highest building.
